The digital medium and electronics in art is a new era in art making. Endless possibilities, mass reproduction, huber realism and now artificial intelligence. Since the late nineties, when I acquired my first Macintosh with awesome 16 mb of RAM and monumental 500 mb hard disk memory, I have been working with computers as an artistic medium. I work with 3D, 2D, DAWs, photography, video, light, mathematics, AI and interactivity
In my 3D work I mainly use Blender, but also a little bit Houdini and when I want to use precise modelling Fusion 360 is my tool of choice

The lava rock is made procedurally in Blender and gradually transients into ice. It is essentially a cube primitive that is transformed between a lava rock and a glacier ice in an animation. It has all kinds of presentational applicational possibilities depending on the venues and opportunities
The play is between the contrasts, but also referring to where I come from a land called the land of fire and ice. Also I liked to refer to the climate change and the disappearance of the glaciers – essentially ice turning into fire
The procedural workflow has interesting possibilities in that I am able to blow up the resolution and maintain the details and gives the possibilities to let it interact with the viewer
